Phase I

AquaSol, Inc. has enlisted a world class team of shrimp farming experts to perform an industry-wide audit of the New Caledonia shrimp farming industry. Included on this team are Dr. Claude Boyd, Tom Frese, David Griffith, and Dr. Albert Tacon. The audit is investigating all hatcheries, farms, and feed manufacturers. This audit is a concerted effort to identify critical problems areas that are responsible for the chronic high costs of production and general lack of competiveness with lower cost producers around the world. This audit will ultimately lead to recommendations geared to optimize the overall performance and profitability of the New Caledonia shrimp farming industry.

Phase II

In 2012, the project will be entering the industry reorganization phase where improvements valued in excess of USD 25 million will be implemented.

Several advisors from the Aquasol team came to New-Caledonia to work on this project. A very knowledgeable and professional team was headed by Tom Frese, who coordinated the whole operation to our full satisfaction.
