AquaSol’s Team of Experts is Growing

November 5, 2012 -- AquaSol, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of five new experts that have agreed to join the AquaSol team.

Jim Brenner is leading our aquaculture valuations, aquaculture due diligence, and complex financial transactions involving aquaculture entities. Jim is a highly qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the States of Florida and Texas with 30 years of accounting and financial leadership experience. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a member of the Forensic and Valuation Services Section of the AICPA. Jim has earned the Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) designation by the AICPA and is fully qualified to provide full business valuations with or without opinions on value. He is also a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the International Tax Forum. Jim has extensive experience with due diligence as either the lead, or the financial lead for large projects and has worked on approximately fifty (50) acquisition/divestiture projects during his career. Jim excels in determining fair value in complex acquisitions and we are very fortunate to have Jim onboard and leading our aquaculture valuation and due diligence efforts.

John Corbin is our new aquaculture policy & planning expert who will oversee all regional, country, and state level aquaculture policy and planning efforts coordinated by the AquaSol team. From 1978-2006, John served as Manager of Hawaii’s State Aquaculture Development Program (ADP), where he was responsible for expanding the aquaculture industry through planning and policy development, provision of industry support services, funding research, and coordinating demonstration projects and technical extension. John also has extensive experience in planning and permitting of open ocean aquaculture for Hawaii and the United States; an area of focus for us here at AquaSol. 

Dr. Roger Doyle is our new aquaculture genetics expert. Roger is a world renowned aquaculture geneticist with almost 40 years of research, development and commercial experience in tilapia, salmon, carp, and shrimp genetics and we are honored to have Roger on-board.

John Holder is our new recirculating aquaculture systems expert. John has been involved in many aspects of the construction and aquaculture industries for over 37 years and we are very fortunate to have him join our growing team of fish farming experts. John’s aquaculture experience has encompassed the design of simple aquaculture systems to the most advanced fish hatchery systems in the world. His experience in aquaculture spans from 1973 to today and he has been involved in transforming the industry from flow through hatcheries to recirculation facilities around the world. Welcome aboard!

Andy Watkins will now be serving as AquaSol’s “go-to guy” for all shrimp hatchery projects. Andy has 28 years experience in the construction and management of shrimp hatcheries around the world and is on the leading edge of innovation in shrimp hatchery design and operations. We are very excited about Andy’s decision to join our team.

All five of these highly talented financial and aquaculture experts join Dr. Claude Boyd (Soil & Water Quality Expert), Tom Frese (President/CEO of AquaSol, Inc.), David Griffith (Aquaculture Operations Expert), and Dr. Albert Tacon (Aquaculture Nutrition & Aquaculture Feeds Expert), all of whom were previously on-board and consulting for AquaSol’s growing list of clients worldwide. AquaSol, Inc. now has a total of nine aquaculture experts ready to serve the needs of existing and new clients. We are still selectively seeking experts with complementary specializations as we continue to move forward with our immediate goal of becoming the leading aquaculture consulting company in the world! If you’re an aquaculture expert and think you have what it takes and want to be a part of our dynamic team of aquaculture consultants, we encourage you to send us details about your qualifications and interest in joining our team.
